Coronation Street star Lisa George has said she's 'thrilled' as she revealed she's making a move away from the cobbles. The actress is best known for playing Beth Sutherland in the ITV soap. Lisa joined the long-running show back in 2011 when Steve McDonald delved into his little black book and gave Beth a call when he was after a date to make his wife Becky jealous.
Then, the following year, Steve again used her when he moved Beth and her son Craig into No.13 to wind up his new wife Tracy Barlow. But just after Christmas, reports emerged that Lisa was set to leave the long-running series after starring in the soap for 13 years.
However, the soap star appears to have dispelled the claims. "And she's back!" Lisa started the caption of her post. "New Year! New contract! New Day!!!" she continued before adding: "Happy New Year to you all!! xx." Now though, as rumours once again swirl about her Corrie future despite revealing previously she'd signed a new contract, Lisa has revealed she has bagged anothe.
