Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has thanked his fans and followers for all of their messages following news of his engagement. It was revealed the actor had popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Hanni Treweek last month. The couple had been seen enjoying a trip of a lifetime in Tanzania and Jack was regularly updating his social media page with the magnificent animals they had spotted on safari before moving on to Zanzibar, where they were seen soaking up the sun on the beach.
It wasn't until their incredible trip came to an end that Hanni revealed Jack, who is famed for playing David Platt in ITV's Corrie, had popped the question. It featured clips from their safari, which included seeing the sunrise, as well as enjoying their own cabin with an outdoor log fire.
