Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney appears smitten as she jetted off for her latest sun-soaked getaway with Ricky Hatton. The pair were first suspected of being in a new relationship after being spotted on a series of pub dates throughout spring. Actress Claire and boxer Ricky, who met when taking part in Dancing on Ice 2024, then stepped out on the red carpet together for the first time in May as they enjoyed the first opening night of Manchester's new £365m Co-op Live Arena.
They both posted photos on their Instagram accounts after posing together at the press boards for celebs and VIPs at the new arena's welcome event before a string of cancelled or postponed shows followed. And fans were quick to admire what a "gorgeous" and "beautiful" couple boxer Ricky and actress Claire looked like while they were also branded a "match made in heaven". Ricky, aka 'The Hitman', took to social media to give a glimpse at the clear blue skies above one of Spain's Balearic Islands. Claire herself has since taken to social media, sharing a picture of herself and Ricky with his family as they sat outside a bar. "With @rickyhitmanhatton family xx," the 53-year-old wrote alongside a sna.
