Coronation Street siblings George and Glenda Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley and Jodie Prenger) are currently embroiled in an all out war over their inheritance, and it seems that their relationship may be beyond repair. George was left shocked when a version of dad Archie’s will was uncovered which revealed that he intended to leave half of the family business to Glenda. George has been in charge of Shuttleworth’s for years, and the idea of giving his financially untrustworthy sister some control left him horrified.
Though he planned to keep the truth about the will under wraps, it didn’t take Glenda long to find out , and she soon grew determined to get back what was rightfully hers. Because of this, Glenda decided to take him to court to sue him for what she was owed, as well as half of the family home.
Wanting to get things sorted out amicably, George and Glenda decided to sit down for a discussion , to see if they could settle out of court, with Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) acting as their mediator. However, as soon as they sat down, it became clear that things weren’t going to be as easy as they’d hoped. It didn’t take long for them to begin bringing up grievances from their childhoods, with George mentioning how Glenda had taken.
