The city’s chief administrative officer said the project will begin in the next week or two at the newly confirmed locations, expanding existing city cleanup efforts. “We’re obviously hoping it will simply look better for everyone anywhere near these areas and that it will be better for folks that are in these encampments, not only getting garbage and debris away, but also lessening any fire risks that come from accumulating debris,” said Michael Jack.
