On August 12, Bell Media and Tim Hortons will partner to bring Canada The Last Timbit, a musical in which a group of strangers find themselves looking for shelter in the middle of a blizzard. With Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Subway, A&W, KFC, Dairy Queen, Domino’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Popeyes, Chipotle, Nando’s, Fatburger, Taco Bell, Church’s, and Andy’s Frozen Custard all evidently shuttered for the night, they settle on Tim Hortons. The possibilities for The Last Timbit musical were deliciously endless.

Like, when Tim Hortons runs out of processed turkey, maybe the assembled strangers can ask themselves, “What would the Donner Party do?” Or, “How about we have eight strangers engage in a contest where, every 20 minutes, they have to drink another pot of Tim Hortons famous ‘always 20 minutes fresh’ coffee until someone’s bladder explodes?” Instead, the “hilarious and heartfelt musical” will see the assembled crew “explore family and community, and find the best in hard times, all while battling for the last Birthday Cake Timbit.” That’s right—a Birthday Cake Timbit ends up being the most coveted bit of food up for grabs.
