Y. — The Richard H. Hungerford School hosted its heartwarming graduation ceremony at its main site in Sunnyside on Friday, June 14, recognizing the 32 eighth-grade graduates.

The color guard team — Noah Talovera, Samsideen Babatunde, Nicholas Rivera, and Joseph Cartagena — followed the Class of 2024 as they processed down the aisle. Joseph Cartagena began the ceremony by singing the national anthem. Assistant Principal Jacqueline Musumeci welcomed proud families, staff, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and middle school graduates, “What a special moment this is to reflect and celebrate,” she began.
