Many famous faces have cooked up a storm for judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace in the Celebrity Masterchef kitchen over the show's 18 series on BBC One. However, a few celebrities have surprised us with their unexpected cooking abilities that we just didn't see coming. Rylan Clark starred on the 10th series back in 2015 and truly left viewers surprised by presenting John and Gregg with beautiful and imaginative creations.
In one round of the competition, the 35-year-old dished up his take on a McDonald's Happy Meal, rebranded as a Cheerful Meal. The meal consisted of a BigRy burger, Ryfries, Rynuggets and a free toy and it was all served in a box he made himself. Despite the subtle digs, the pair branded the meal as "delicious", sending him through to the next round. Rylan continued his amazing cooking skills and landed a spot in the final alongside Kimberly Wyatt and Sam Nixon but ultimately lost out to the Pussycat Doll singer. Reality star turned singer Megan McKenna appeared on the cooking competition in 2021 and attempted to bowl over the judges with her gluten-free dishes.
She made it to the final where she cooked up three dishes for the judges but ultimately lost out to athle.
