CELEBRITY MasterChef is back with a crop of stars facing the heat in the telly kitchen. Here are the latest names to sign up for John Torode and Gregg Wallace 's iconic cooking show for its 19th series. The Sun revealed the charismatic member of beloved pop band Steps had been secretly signed up.
The 5,6,7,8 singer already has Dancing On Ice, Celebrity Big Brother and Gogglebox under his reality TV credentials. He'll be singing with a spatula in BBC’s upcoming series of Celebrity MasterChef . Actress Rochenda Sandall , 34, played Lisa McQueen in Line of Duty.
Ian and Rochenda are now set to cook up a storm later this year and join athletes, comedians and entertainers, entering the race to lift the Celebrity MasterChef 2024 trophy. Comedian and writer Eshaan Akbar, 39, has had a bumper year on the reality TV circuit. Viewers may recognise him from his appearance on BBC Two show Pilgrimage earlier this year.
He'll be in good company on MasterChef with his Pilgrimage co-star Christine McGuinness. Presenter OJ Borg, 43, from Leicester, is known to listeners on BBC Radio 2 and viewers of Morning Live. The star will battle it out to become the Celebrity MasterChef champion, after Opera singer Wynne Evans was crowned last year.
