Celebrities including Piers Morgan and Jamie Oliver have expressed their horror and upset after a body was found in the search for missing TV doctor Michael Mosley . Mosley, 67, was first reported to have gone missing on Wednesday June 5 while on holiday on the Greek island of Symi with his wife, Dr Clare Bailey. His wife sounded the alarm when he didn’t return from a walk, which he had ventured on as temperatures in the region were reported to have reached 40 degrees Celsius.
On Sunday June 9, it was announced that a body had been found after a search was conducted by people including police officers, firefighters and the Greek Red Cross. The body is yet to be formally identified, after the individual was discovered by a hospitality worker and British journalists near a fence that runs around a bar on the Agia Marina beach. Following the discovery of the body, the Mayor of Symi, Eleftherios Papakalodoukas, outlined that Mosley might have fallen off a short 10-metre cliff.

He had probably fallen from a short cliff of about 10m,’ he added, as reported by The Mirror .
