"We cannot bring back the old days, when we were all together, the family chain is broken now but memories last forever” Kevin Ivers The funeral details have been announced for a young Irish dad who tragically lost his life in a crash during torrential rain in Australia. Father-of-two Kevin Ivers, aged in his 30s, was originally from Pearse Park Golden in Co Tipperary. He died in a terrible accident in Perth on June 9.
Mr Ivers ran the Golden Plant Hire in Gingin, Perth, Western Australia. "Golden Plant Hire Pty Ltd is a family owned heavy earthmoving business operating throughout Western Australia. We pride ourselves on delivering quality results,” their website states.
Mr Ivers had attended primary school in the village of Golden and secondary school at Cashel Community School. Golden Plant hire Locals have described Kevin as a “gentleman” and many had “great memories of him growing up in Pearse Park in Golden”. A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at Granville Centre Hall in the town of Gingin on Wednesday June 26.
The service began at 12pm and will be followed by an afternoon of food and supplied beverages in the town hall. The service is being live-streamed here in Ireland.
