Bugatti has once again raised the bar in the world of hypercars with the introduction of the Bugatti Tourbillon. Following in the footsteps of the legendary Veyron and Chiron , the Tourbillon marks a new era in automotive excellence with an innovative powertrain and design philosophy rooted in the brand’s rich history. The Bugatti Tourbillon, named after the intricate and timeless watchmaking invention, breaks from tradition by forgoing the iconic W16 engine.
Instead, it boasts an all-new 8.3L naturally aspirated V16 engine , paired with a cutting-edge electric powertrain. This combination delivers a staggering 1,800 hp, setting new standards for performance and engineering.
The Tourbillon’s powertrain, developed with Cosworth, includes a front e-axle with two electric motors and another motor at the rear, offering peak agility and traction. Every aspect of the Tourbillon is meticulously designed for both beauty and function. The car features Bugatti’s signature horseshoe grille, Bugatti Line, central ridge and dual color split.
Its aerodynamic prowess allows it to exceed 250 mph, with innovations such as a submerged rear wing for perfect equilibrium at top speeds and an advanced diffuser concept that ensures balance and efficiency. Inside the cabin, the Tourbillon features a blend of timeless craftsmanship and modern innovation. Inspired by horology, it sports a fixed hub steering wheel with a Swiss-made analog instrument cluster.
