Bridgerton ‘s third season means the introduction of new classical covers for fans to enjoy in the Regency-set romantic drama, and Netflix has already revealed several of them in Part 1. Now, Netflix has announced which covers fans will hear in Part 2. While we await Part 2’s arrival on June 13, we’re breaking down all of the covers that will be featured in Season 3 overall, alongside several original compositions.
In the first installment GAYLE’s “Abcdefu” played as Penelope ( Nicola Coughlan ) made her grand entrance at Lady Danbury’s ( Adjoa Andoh ) ball, unveiling her makeover. Meanwhile, in the second episode, BTS gets a Vitamin String Quartet spin with a cover of “Dynamite” during a ball dance, and Nick Jonas ‘ “Jealous” is translated for Bridgerton by Shimmer during a moment where Colin ( Luke Newton ) observes Penelope talking to another potential suitor. In the third installment, Vitamin String Quartet covered two songs, the first of which is Sia’s “Cheap Thrills” which plays over Violet’s ( Ruth Gemmell ) introduction to Lord Marcus Anderson ( Daniel Francis ), and the latter is Billie Eilish ‘s “Happier Than Ever” that plays over Penelope’s dance with Lord Debling ( Sam Phillips ) as a teary Colin watches from the sidelines.
Rounding out Part 1 with song covers is Atwood Quartet’s interpretation of Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey ‘s “Snow On The Beach,” which sounds as Colin arrives at a ball to confess his feelings to .
