Actress Heather Locklear has announced that her father Bill died at the age of 94. The 62-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the heartbreaking news. She shared a photo of her father wearing a jacket and a Marines baseball cap.
"The most brilliant man I have ever known. The bar is oh so high. The love of my life.
The few the proud. I love you dad. RIP," she captioned the post.
A source told PEOPLE that Bill was "ailing for a while" and was hospitalised back in February. They added: "Obviously it was a very stressful time for the family." Among the condolences in her comments section was one from Tommy Lee, Heather's husband from 1986 to 1993.
