Amie's life was tragically cut short late on Friday evening at Durley Chine Beach. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, she was sadly pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of her injuries.
A teenage boy, aged 17 and from Lancashire, has since been arrested by Dorset Police on suspicion of murder. Another woman, 38 years old, was seriously wounded in the incident and is currently receiving medical treatment in a nearby hospital. Dedicated police officers continue their meticulous search of the area using metal detectors, seemingly on the hunt for the murder weapon used in this brutal crime.
In an official statement released by Dorset Police: "Very sadly, a 34-year-old woman from Poole was pronounced dead at the scene. A 38-year-old woman from Poole was taken to hospital with serious injuries where she continues to receive treatment.", reports the Mirror .
