FURIOUS locals on the North Coast 500 have demanded tourists be 'blocked in with a tractor' while accusing them of hiding a warning sign. Residents are plagued with bad parking, motorhomes clogging up the roads and drivers who don't know the rules of rural driving . But locals living in Durness have had repeated issues with problem tourists. One beach has now become the latest source of friction with tourists who have been accused of hiding important signs for their own benefit.

One person shared a picture of two vans and a pickup truck parked at the picturesque spot on social media . They said: "Sango beach again tonight.

"They're hiding the no overnight parking sign." .
