OVER the weekend BUMBLEBEE 1000 completed its Fast and Furious charity Roadtrip. This was our biggest adventure to date, with 100 of the finest supercars ever seen in Ireland taking part. But before I talk about the €25million worth of machinery, Bumblebee 1000 also raised a huge amount of money for its chosen charity — the Little Blue Heroes.

Counting is still ongoing but over the weekend, with Garda members voluntarily leading us, we raised €203,224 for this fabulous charity that provides vital support to the families of sick children in Ireland. That means that since partnering up, Bumblebee 1000 has raised over €550,0000 for this incredible organisation. But it wasn’t just Bumblebee 1000 that went bigger and better than before.



More than 75,000 spectators turned out to greet us, lining the streets, roads, motorways, pit stops, plus the Start and Finish lines, to see and hear their favourite cars. And what a selection of supercars it was — the Lamborghinis were out in force, there was a Urus super SUV, a large selection of Aventadors — including two rare SVJ models — plus two Huracan EVOs and arguably the craziest Lambo of all, a stunning 631bhp Huracan STO. And not forgetting a gorgeous 5.
