Read our privacy notice . Somehow time has flown by and it’s been three years since the ‘I do’s’. You’re starting to get into your marriage stride with plenty of holidays, family events and coupley ‘firsts’ under your belt - like the first Christmas without any in-laws, first child/pet or first quarrel over TV streaming choices.

It's time to celebrate, and for three years of wedded bliss, the traditional gift is leather. Symbolising durability, strength and flexibility in your union, there is a tonne of gifting inspiration to be drawn from leather. Small accessories are the obvious choice, of course, but if they’re into their fragrances, unusual leather scents are a niche olfactory offering that have a pleasing gender neutrality about them and so, can be enjoyed by all genders.

Then there’s also vegan leather to consider, which, if you belong to the hey-it’s-the-thought-that-counts camp, is a completely viable and guilt-free alternative. If you’re not feeling leather though, all is not lost. Alternatives include sunflower themes (the flower is the anniversary bloom for three years strong) or anything featuring pearls , the gemstone for the occasion.

If you’re still feeling stumped for ideas.
