JULY 17 The Republican Women of Coffee County (RWCC) will meet July 17, 11 a.m. at the Enterprise Country Club, 3000 Ozark Highway.

Adam Strickland, Child Labor Inspector for the Alabama Department of Labor, will be speaking on Alabama’s problem with children being forced to work in plants and factories. Social time begins at 11 a.m.

JULY 24 SARCOA will hold a public hearing to establish priorities of service for persons age 60 and above, as established in the Older Americans Act of 1965, for the counties of Barbour, Coffee, Covington, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Houston.

Information gathered at the hearing will be compiled according to priorities and written into the plan to be administered by the area agency on aging during fiscal year 2025. Public hearing will be held at 1065 S Brannon Stand Road in Dothan at 10:30 a.m.
