The world-famous musician , real name Sir Richard Starkey MBE, recently completed a solo spring tour ahead of the big celebrations. To mark the occasion, he once more asked people to take part in his global Peace and Love event , where he invited fans to say or post the words ‘peace and love.
’ In a video posted to his Instagram Page, Sir Ringo looked ageless in crisp white trousers with a contrasting black graphic tee and denim jacket to explain the event. ‘OK, Peace and Love, here we go again!’ he said in the clip. ‘Thanks for joining me on my birthday.
I am so grateful to you all for helping me promote Peace and Love. ‘I want to give special thanks to all the peace and love ambassadors – we are in 34 countries! Thanks for doing it – and I gotta thank all the fans, peace and love – just join me in your mind, or on the bus or wherever you are on the 7th of the 7th just go “peace and love” at noon your local time.’ Many took to the comments to wish Sir Ringo a happy birthday as well as praise him for his work in spreading the positive message.
