Brough Scott claimed the BBC Radio 5 Live racing star was looking forward to the prospect of his beloved partner Carol accompanying him during the games just days before she and his two daughters were killed. The horse racing journalist wrote in a touching tribute in The Times that he and the doting father, who is set to commentate the Olympic swimming, had on Saturday discussed the prospect of a family meet up in the French capital.
But following what Scott described as 'the very worst of tragedies', after Carol, 61, and their two daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, were found fatally injured at their home on Tuesday, the loving wife will no longer be able to. John, a devoted father, who would show off photos of his beloved wife and daughters at any given moment, has been inundated with tributes and messages of support following the incomprehensible tragedy.
