From Barbie girls to brides, police officers to prisoners, clubbers took to the streets in an array of costumes to celebrate the start of the summer season. Although quieter than the night before, city centres were still fairly busy with people heading out to bars and clubs.

A trio of girls dressed up as fairies in sparkly outfits as they enjoyed a night out in Leeds A group of pals embodied the characters of Simon, Will, Neil and Jay, from the sitcom The Inbetweeners Two partygoers dressed up as the Hulk and Poison Ivy as they take part in the Otley Run In Leeds, a trio of girls dressed up in sparkly fairy outfits as they headed into the city centre for a night of partying. And the wet weather didn't put a dampener on things, with partygoers using their purses and jackets to keep themselves dry. In contrast, a group of guys embodied the characters of Simon, Will, Neil and Jay, better known as The Inbetweeners from the Channel 4 sitcom, as they posed for a photograph during their night out.
