An Aussie man has given passengers a show of a lifetime when he took over a flight’s PA system and proposed to his girlfriend. A video shared by news.com.

au showed Matt Elis taking his chance to show his love to his girlfriend on board a Jetstar flight heading to Bali. In a show of utmost confidence, Matt introduced himself to passengers before he requested his girlfriend Sam Dwight to stand up. The nervous man then poured his heart out as passengers started to catch on to what was about to take place.

“And I reckon once you find that you’ve got to hold onto it.” The camera turns to show a shocked Sam slowly making her way forward to her soon-to-be fiance with a hand over her mouth. “So if you’ll have me will you marry me?” he said as she reached the front of the plane.

Matt got down on one knee and opened a jewellery box to reveal a stunning silver ring. His unforgettable gesture was met with a round of applause from the Bali-bound passengers. The comment section of the video posted to Facebook was filled with congratulations for the loved up couple.

“What a beautiful gesture 👏 ❤️ 😍 lovely young couple.. Enjoy your life together ❤️,” one.
