SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Even in the heavy rain, many community members still came out to Gavin Park for the annual Wilton Community Day event.
Previously called “ParkFest,” this family-friendly event featured a wide variety of local vendors, activities, and attractions. Upon arrival, visitors could check out all of the activities that the park had to offer. Near the small pavilion, kids could get free balloon sculptures and their faces painted, as well as take pictures in the photo booth.
For those feeling more adventurous, they could also play on one of the two large bouncy castles or try their luck at mini golf. Kids also had the opportunity to participate in all sorts of different contests, such as cookie decorating, ice cream eating, soccer shootouts, and pickleball. After checking out all of the morning activities, kids and their families could make their way over to the large pavilion for some live entertainment.
Starting the day off was Juggler and Comedian, Bryson Lang, who had the audience both in awe and in laughter. “I looked up the definition of juggling, which is the art of throwing objects up and catching them,” Lang said. “Today, I’m going to turn that definition upside down.
