Today, we are excited to release the results of our global and local open calls and In what we see as a natural evolution for the festival, this shift aligns the event with fashion month, promising even more vibrancy and engagement, reflecting PhotoVogue’s integral place within the Vogue family. Mark your calendars and ensure you're in Milan in March for a profound exploration of our bonds with nature. This year's theme transcends the traditional scope of visual art, advocating a fundamental shift in how we interact with our planet and its inhabitants.

It draws on the poignant belief that the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated, as quoted by Mahatma Gandhi. The festival will extend this concept to include not only familiar animals but also those often overlooked, emphasizing their deep emotions and essential roles in preserving our ecosystem. Drawing inspiration from the book "Kinship: Belonging in a World of Relations" by The Center for Humans and Nature, our festival and open call resonate with the idea of a shared community of life.

This includes everything from the bacteria in our bellies to the trees that breathe life into our atmosphere, affirming that all forms of life are our kin. Over the four days of the festival, attendees can expect a dynamic schedule of exhibitions, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, each designed to deepen our care and respect for the entire family of life that shares our plan.
