The festivities began on July 12 with the Shubh Vivah (wedding ceremony) at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, followed by the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony on July 13. The celebrations will conclude with the Mangal Utsav, the wedding reception, on July 14.
This wedding is particularly significant as it is the last one hosted by the Ambani family, and they have spared no expense, organising two pre-wedding events and a three-day wedding celebration. The invitation card, which has been widely shared on social media, detailed the events and dress codes: Indian traditional for the , Indian formal for the , and Indian chic for the Anant is the youngest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani and Radhika Merchant is the youngest daughter of Viren and Shaila Merchant. Their wedding attracted International celebrities such as the Kardashians, John Cena, Nick Jonas, Nigerian singer Rema, former UK Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson and Mona Kattan, president of Huda Beauty and her husband Hassan Elamin.
