The Korea Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E Kim Pankyu assumed his new posting as Korea’s chief envoy in Nigeria. The Ambassador recently hosed media parley, where unveiled his plans towards strengthening strategic objectives of Korea Embassy in Nigeria.
Also, he revealed how Korean government engagement with Nigeria to strengthening the partnership and collaborations and exploring new areas of opportunities for both countries. Ambassador Pankyu, acknowledge that for 45 years, the diplomatic relations between Korea and Nigeria remains mutually beneficial to both countries since inception in 1981, while noting that unfolding opportunities exist to expand the partnership to new sectors and endeavors of strategic interests to both countries. The new envoy who served in the Korean Navy for almost 40 years, retired as Vice Admiral, expressed profound gratitude that Nigeria is his first post as an ambassador representing Korea.
“I feel honored to be once again given the opportunity to work for my country, especially in this important and beautiful country. Already more than 50 days have passed since I first arrived in Abuja. I think it might be fair to say that I had a busy first 50 days.
