Amazon's annual Prime Day event is just around the corner, with shoppers able to bag discounts across a wide range of departments on July 16-17. These discounts will be exclusively available to Prime members, who can look forward to savings in areas such as beauty, tech, homeware, baby and toddler items, kitchenware, and much more. If you're not yet a Prime member but want to join in time for the sale, there's still time.

You can sign up for Amazon Prime here at a cost of £8.99 per month. This subscription comes with a 30-day free trial, and there's also an option to pay upfront for 12 months instead of monthly, which will cost you £95.



Prime membership offers unlimited free delivery on all orders and access to Amazon TV . The company has also launched a special deal for students aged between 18-22. Students can avail of an offer that gives them a six-month free trial before their monthly payments begin.

Instead of the usual £8.99 per month, they'll pay just £4.39, saving them £47.
