There is officially less than one week until this year's Amazon Prime Day officially goes live, and there is already a lot of buzz about this year's event . The annual shopping event usually takes place every summer, offering shoppers a variety of deals across top-rated brands. With the retailer celebrating its 10th event this year, it is set to be one of its biggest yet.

Exclusive to Amazon subscribers, Prime Day is set across two days and it is second only to Black Friday in terms of hype and discounts. It regularly allows shoppers to bag deals across thousands of products from beauty and fashion and homeware to toys. This year's Prime Day will officially run from Tuesday, July 16 and will run up until Wednesday, July 17. Set to run for 48 hours, the sale will begin at 00:00 next Tuesday, before finishing at 11:59pm the following day, giving you plenty of time to check for some major discounts. Amazon's Prime Day is a shopping event that was first introduced in 2015.
