Charles Darwin once said that "the love for all living creatures is the most noble attribute of man". Whilst animals bring so much joy into our lives, teaching us the values of unconditional love, loyalty and simple joys, there are many vulnerable animals out there that rely on our compassion and willingness to help them. This August, Bristol Animal Rescue Centre*, locally known as Bristol A.

R.C., is thrilled to announce the launch of its exciting new summer fundraising campaign: The Mutt Strutt.

From August 1 until 31, the centre is inviting compassionate, animal-loving fundraisers to walk 100km throughout the month to support the life-changing work that is done at the centre. Bristol A.R.

C. plays a vital role in the community, rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming beautiful, vulnerable animals. It has been caring for the city's vulnerable pets and wildlife since 1887, helping, healing and homing thousands of animals in need each and every year.

It is the oldest and largest local animal charity - and whilst it is proud to be affiliated with the RSPCA, the centre remains a self-funded branch, relying entirely on local support within the community to fund its vital work. Each year, the centre provides essential services such as emergency medical treatment, behavioural training and safe shelter for countless animals in need of help, love and support. All funds raised through The Mutt Strut will enable the invaluable centre to continue their critical efforts and change the lives.
