A BARGAIN shopper has shared the designer handbag deal they found at a thrift store. The befuddled thrifter was shocked that they could pick up the fashion find — new with tags — for just $6. Redditor Creative_usrname69 shared the designer thrift find in a viral post.
"Absolutely shocked and a bit confused," they said. "[I] found this cute little dude NWT today for $6. "Gonna go pray to the thrift store bag gods, I guess.
" They shared photos of their latest black leather Gucci Tifosa bag, complete with gold hardware and the Gucci logo on a gold embossed plate. The convertible strap ball shoulder bag included dual flat handles, leather lining, and a removable shoulder strap. True to their word, the bag came with its original price tag still on, revealing that the accessory retails for $620.
A deeper investigation, however, revealed that the bag was worth much more. One viewer thought the thrift store might have made a mistake by selling the bag for just $6. "I think they meant $620; you got lucky," they said.
"I was able to read the price on the tag underneath the top sticker, and it says $1,795. I will definitely enjoy it, thank you!" the Redditor replied. Others were envious of the huge deal.
"WOW, what a find!" said one commenter. "It's beautiful, enjoy it!" said another. "Woah, great find! I'm not jealous at all, nope.
" joked a third. "Amazing!" said a fourth. Other bargain hunters shared their luxury thrift finds, including one who scored with a $2.
