The Channel Seven presenter, who is pregnant with her second child to AFL star Kane Lambert, revealed she was suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum. Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) is a condition that causes persistent and excessive vomiting during pregnancy.

Sufferers can often be unable to keep food or water down, impacting their daily life. 'Probably once a week I wake up and vomit, that's really so mild compared to what it was,' she told the Missta Mums podcast on Thursday. 'Every day, dry heaving, vomiting, whatever I ate first.

But even then that was a struggle.' Abbey added the condition was at one point so bad she felt like she was dying. 'If I drank water, I'd vomit.
