Redwood Curtain is extending Pride Month into July. Redwood Curtain’s last two cabaret shows were sell-outs and the theater company is bringing the fun back with a “big, queer celebration of Pride,” “A Queer CabarGay” — which is also a fundraiser for Redwood Curtain — will be presented Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

) Jioras provides more details of the night’s entertainment: “This will be a truly fun evening — some sweet ballads, but a lot of just plain fun songs. Sometimes the song is written as queer and sometimes the song is being performed that way, but it’s all a huge celebration of queerness.” Songs come from across the time spectrum of musical theatre, ranging from canon classics like “The King and I,” “Finian’s Rainbow” and “West Side Story” to more recent shows including “Wicked,” “Rent” and “Frozen.
