Sandcastle’s open for the season Starting this Saturday, Sandcastle Water Park will be open for the season. Beat the heat with a variety of water slides and other wet-and-wild attractions on opening weekend.
Sandcastle is celebrating its 35th year in operation this summer. One-day tickets and season passes are available online now. The park promises a “better, brighter and fresher-than-ever” Sandcastle this year.

Included with History Center admission — and free to members — the event will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.
m. There will be cooking demonstrations and Asian American food history lessons, but also tons of delicious bites to try at the food market. A variety of restaurants and food vendors will be on-site with bites and larger portions for purchase.
